Course Objectives
At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Describe the basics of ultrasound physics
- Demonstrate the operation of a variety of musculoskeletal ultrasound equipment
- Obtain standard views on musculoskeletal ultrasound diagnostic exams
- Identify key anatomy on musculoskeletal ultrasound exams
- Identify common ultrasound pathology associated with conditions such as gout, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, mechanical muscle injuries, tendinopathies and common neuropathies
